This print makes me think about the infinite range of human emotion and all it's nuances. I feel like there are so many possible feelings this man could be expressing! Is he trying to shield himself? Is he dancing? Is he distraught? He is certainly compelled by SOMETHING to move and contort his body the way he does! The artist did a nice job of evoking emotion, yet keeping it a mystery as to exactly which emotion that might be.
